. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The best way to get the latest on me is to stalk me online. I've
got a livejournal blog
that I update more often than I expect. I waste a portion of my time
posting to Slashdot.
I've also got a myspace
profile, though I don't make changes that often. But here's the
basics:
Born on May 14, 1973 in Boston Massachusetts, I was just
in time to remember both disco and classic rock. I also
got to see the birth of the personal computer, and like
everyone else who used them before the internet, spent ten
years trying to figure out what they were actually for.
I occasionally create music, movies,
stories, and web sites with my friends.
The rest of the time I spend making money to fund these projects.
I've had a wider variety of jobs than anyone else I know. Here
are some high/low lights in no particular order:
- Birthday Party Specialist at an Arcade
- Janitor at a Hospital
- Manager at an Ethnic Beauty Supply
- Guy at Gas Station
- Web Developer for Microsoft's LinkExchange (now bCentral)
- Finger Print Wiper-Offer at a Car Show
- Senior Software Engineer at payMe.com
- 3D Artist/Animator (emmy nominated!)
- Taco Bell
- Lab Rat in Bad Breath Test
I've never done the math, but it seems like the programming jobs have
paid more than the rest combined - and I've left many non-programming
jobs off the list. I think I'll stick with programming for a while.
I have a truly wonderful family that consists of every personality
type imaginable. They mostly live in and around Boston, but I am
living with my wife in the San Francisco Bay Area(tm), so
I don't see them often.
That's enough talk. Anything else you'll have to piece
together by checking out the people whom
I associate with or the projects I work
on.
Oh, I also appear on Linked In and
Friendster. And sometimes I
post to Kuro5hin, making
sure I keep in line with the arogant nastiness of the community.
